Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urgent Care Practice Nurse – Enrolled Nurse to join our team. As a vital member of our urgent care service, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients receive appropriate care in collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist RNs in providing exceptional patient care for injuries or illnesses.
- Perform various care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.
- Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.
- Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Must be available evenings and weekends.
- Experience in a primary care setting, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable.
