Fire Safety Engineer Role at KBR Inc.

We are looking for a skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Infrastructure Buildings and Defence national team, you will contribute to the success of our business by developing fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in fire safety engineering or a relevant science- or engineering discipline and experience with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and fire safety engineering processes in Australia.

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects.
  • Assist and support senior engineers and managers on projects Australia-wide.
  • Work closely with fire protection engineering and other disciplines within KBR and externally as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in fire safety engineering or a relevant science- or engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of the BCA and fire safety engineering processes in Australia.
  • Ability to analyse and manage design work and engineering tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
