Role Summary
The Risk Framework & Reporting Manager will assist in monitoring the performance of risk against internal risk appetite and provide insights via data analysis. This role will also serve as the secretary to the Australia Risk Management Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of various risk reporting needs, including quarterly risk reports to the Australia Risk Management Committee.
- Assist in the review and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework for Northern Trust Australia, ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
- Advise first lines on the application of risk management frameworks.
- Integrate risk into the business planning process through risk appetite reviews and line 2 risk assessments.
- Monitor risk performance against appetite and use KRIs and metrics to report on risk management.
- Conduct risk culture assessments and develop action plans to support maturity.
- Support the delivery of risk culture initiatives to strengthen risk culture.
- Assist in the delivery of annual risk management declarations to APRA.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or Risk-related fields is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in risk management within Australia's financial services or APRA-regulated entities.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, risk culture, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
