About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our small team in the Baby Room at a beautiful 55-place community-based centre in Kensington. The centre caters for children aged 0-6 and is passionate about child-centred learning, allowing children to follow their own lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate care and education programs for infants and toddlers aged 0-2 years
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and grow
  • Build positive relationships with children and families, and provide regular feedback on their progress
  • Work cohesively alongside a strong and passionate team of educators

Requirements
  • Currently residing in Australia and hold a valid VISA
  • Diploma/Cert 3 in ECE (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards
  • Proven ability to work with infants in an Early Childhood Setting
  • First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current child protection training
