Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager – Business Development to join our team in Sydney. This role involves developing knowledge of various industries and their supply chains to offer customized solutions.

  • Business Development: Proactively research and identify potential clients in targeted sectors. Engage with prospects through strategic outreach, organize product demonstrations, and effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our solution.
  • Sales and Pipeline Management: Work with the growth and product teams to pursue opportunities that you have identified and effectively manage your pipeline. Utilize multiple channels for pipeline development, including networking, referrals, and digital outreach, to drive business opportunities through to successful contract closure.
  • Proposals and Contracting: Create tailored client proposals, including tender responses, that clearly state a compelling value proposition based on the client's needs and evolve the proposal based on client feedback. Once agreed, collaborate with the client to formalise the engagement in a contract.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline sales processes, enhancing efficiency within the team and making your life easier Your insights will contribute to refining our sales approach, ensuring alignment with KPMG Origins' strategic objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between the sales, customer success and product teams, ensuring a smooth transition of clients from sales prospects to active users. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients, delivering tangible value and fostering long-term partnerships.
