The OpportunityThis exciting opportunity allows you to work on a diverse range of matters, including franchising, retail, intellectual property, and general commercial work. You will have the chance to work with our prominent client base in the franchising and general commercial sector, assisting with the establishment of new networks and expansion of existing networks, advising on the Franchising Code of Conduct, business sales and acquisitions, drafting commercial agreements, and providing general commercial advice.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and review of commercial agreements and other contractual documents;
- Provide advice on franchising and commercial law matters, including due diligence and contract negotiations;
- Work collaboratively with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
- 4+ years of post-admission experience as a lawyer;
- Familiarity with franchising and commercial law, including contract law and drafting skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues;
- A willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
