The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Melbourne team, playing a key role in undertaking options investigations, feasibility studies, and reporting on complex engineering projects.
This includes:
- Leading project delivery and engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plant projects
- Applying experience and understanding of treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project delivery
- Leading project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner
- Coordinating with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of process designs and compatibility with design intent
- Engaging in client-facing activities to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
- Mentoring and sharing project experience with junior engineers
About You
We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering, possessing approximately 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
- Experience in wastewater treatment process design and modelling
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients
- Consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes
- A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to lead others while contributing to a vibrant team
