**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in commissioning mechanical equipment, developing maintenance programs and plans, and ensuring safe work practices.

About the Role:

  • Develop test scripts for mechanical equipment and systems
  • Participate in customer equipment FWT/FAT
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage relationships
  • Inspect equipment to ensure build adherence to vendor submittal
  • Provide documentation that equipment is delivered, installed, and tested correctly
  • Support design specification review, manufacturer submittals, and project schedule documentation
  • Perform QA/QC of mechanical equipment installation/startup
  • Assign test commissioning tasks to the mechanical commissioning team
  • Execute test scripts to confirm equipment and system operation
  • E nsure safe work practices are followed by all on the commissioning team and the customer site
  • Engage with customers to ensure positive experience and schedule adherence
  • Provide daily reports for the mechanical commissioning team status

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a mechanical or engineering field or equivalent years' experience
  • 2+ years of experience in commissioning and qualification in a regulated industry or facility engineering/facility management
  • Experience in data centre construction/commissioning, mission critical construction/commissioning, building commissioning, facilities and mechanical equipment startup walk-downs & troubleshooting
  • Data centre facility operations experience is desired but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • MS Project experience
  • Able to travel internationally if required subject to travel restrictions
