Job Title: Deputy Associate

The Deputy Associate is a crucial team member who assists the Judge in managing daily Chambers and Court operations.

This role encompasses several key responsibilities:

  • Undertaking the Court Officer function
  • Assisting the Associate in responding to inquiries and overseeing chamber management
  • Updating the Court's case management system and preparing orders and judgments for the Judge
  • Conducting legal research as required by the Judge
  • Performing other duties as necessary
Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, one must possess strong communication (oral and written) and liaison skills. Additionally, demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously, are essential.

Adaptability to changing situations and priorities is also crucial, as is participation in collective work practices. The ability to travel on circuits is a requirement, as is experience in a legal environment.
