About the Role

  • We are currently seeking an experienced Security Systems Advisor to provide expert security leadership at Perth Airport. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee security initiatives, drive improvement projects and collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance airport safety.
  • You will deliver expert security and risk advice to stakeholders, including guidance on key projects. You will monitor and evaluate security performance, ensuring accountability for deadlines and implementing corrective measures.
  • You will ensure all physical security measures are robust, effective and correctly implemented. You will lead and coordinate security awareness initiatives, working with internal and external airport stakeholders.
  • You will oversee security-sensitive systems such as electronic access control and CCTV, ensuring they remain operational and compliant. You will drive security infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to Perth Airport's security standards and best practices.
  • You will participate as a key member of the emergency coordination team during critical incidents and support security and emergency exercises.
  • You will act as an on-call point of contact for security and emergency incidents. You will assist with document management by organising, updating and maintaining security documentation.

About You

  • You have extensive experience in security infrastructure and technology, with strong risk management expertise. You are skilled in developing and managing security documentation.
  • You can foster a positive security culture and engage stakeholders effectively. You are accountable and results-driven, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
  • You are a resourceful problem-solver, optimising resources to address challenges. You have proven experience building effective relationships across teams to meet security goals.
