A prestigious opportunity awaits a seasoned Data Scientist to spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for Aviva's general insurance business. As a key member of the Data Insights team, you will design and implement scalable frameworks that drive business insight and optimize operational processes.

About the Role:

You will lead the creation of productionized solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, bringing state-of-the-art machine learning capabilities to our business. You will partner with colleagues to identify opportunities to apply AI and make a tangible impact on real business problems. Your expertise will be crucial in creating and sharing knowledge, enabling us to grow together as a team.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or post-graduate education in a numerate/programming-oriented subject, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent skills in writing clean, maintainable, and robust code in Python, Spark, SQL-like languages.
  • Extensive experience working with Snowflake or Dataiku for MLOps and ETL.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and indicators of model accuracy.
  • Closely partnering with data engineering colleagues to improve ETL and data pipelines.
