We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Emergency and Critical Care at Greencross Limited. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients, working collaboratively with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill and injured patients, including monitoring, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring accurate medical records and compliance with hospital protocols.
- Offer support and guidance to pet owners during stressful situations, providing a high level of customer service and empathy.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary nursing practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as part of a rotating roster.
