We are seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis.

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks in commercial establishments, including offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, and more. This includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and furniture to maintain a spotless appearance.

You will also be required to sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and communal areas, to promote a healthy environment. Additionally, you will need to clean and maintain restrooms, replenishing supplies and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.

Other responsibilities include emptying trash receptacles and properly disposing of waste in accordance with guidelines, adhering to established cleaning schedules, and following safety protocols to minimize accidents and hazards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial establishments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Keen eye for detail and high-quality standards
  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle regular lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client premises
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, materials, and equipment (advantageous)
