Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Networks and Environment Principal to join our team at Telstra. As a key member of our Global Networks & Technology team, you will play a critical role in leading the implementation of our environmental and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy consumption reduction strategies and technology solutions aligned with our Energy and Environment Strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of our climate change and sustainability ambitions and goals.
  • Optimise Telstra's energy consumption and emissions reduction, and deliver sustainability programs and projects to meet corporate targets.
  • Monetise recycling of decommissioned infrastructure to support the circular economy.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of energy storage technologies and reserve power.
  • Understanding of cooling technologies.
  • Experience with renewable energy and energy reduction methodologies.
  • Knowledge of emerging energy-efficient solutions and technologies.
  • Advanced commercial and business acumen.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and management experience.
