Are you an experienced aircraft maintenance engineer seeking a challenging role in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Brisbane based B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and certifying aircraft maintenance on behalf of Special Mission Engineering. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all aircraft maintenance is carried out in line with MOE, procedures manuals and CAMO requirements
  • Planning, distributing and overseeing scheduled maintenance
  • Performing, implementing and maintaining shift / task handovers
  • Supervising maintenance personnel and supporting apprentices when required
  • Ensuring complex maintenance tasks are certified by an authorised Certifying Employee

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience as a LAME B1/B2 or dual licensed
  • Heavy and line maintenance experience
  • Able to attend a DHC8 Classic Type course if not already held
  • A current First Aid Certificate
