We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Collector to join our team at Healius, one of Australia's leading healthcare companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for collecting blood samples and coordinating specimen collection from patients.

This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Medical Laboratory Collector, you will be working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless sample collection and transportation.

Healius is a leading provider of private medical laboratory and pathology services, operating over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centers across metropolitan, regional, and remote Australia. We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, serving some of the country's largest and most complex private and public hospitals, as well as small Indigenous Australian communities.

• Collecting blood samples with care and attention to detail
• Keeping accurate records of patient information and sample collection data
• Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
• Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
• Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure efficient sample collection and transportation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a relevant qualification
• Demonstrated experience in phlebotomy or a related field
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple clinics
• A Working With Children's Check or equivalent
