Job Title: Medium Rigid Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Medium Rigid Truck Driver to join our team at Programmed. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a range of vehicles, including a Medium Rigid Automatic Truck, to deliver goods across Melbourne Metro.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select, pack, and prepare items for delivery, ensuring they are safe and secure for transport.
  • Maintain accurate records using SAP, ERP, or WMS for inventory, deliveries, and any encountered discrepancies.
  • Assist with the picking and packing of orders in the warehouse.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance to ensure road safety.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Assist with loading & unloading trucks both manually and with a forklift
Requirements:
  • Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License
  • LF Forklift License
  • Proof of Australian Driving History Check
  • Worked in a warehouse/production environment
  • Willingness to help the team with production/warehouse duties
  • Familiarity with the driving around all of Melbourne Metro
  • SAP or ERP system experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of road safety, map reading, and OHS procedures
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
