Job Title: Education Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate education specialist to deliver engaging programs in language, literacy, and numeracy. Our educators aim to transform educational outcomes, empowering students to gain independence and further education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Aboriginal Targeted initiatives, fostering growth and confidence in learners who may have previously faced barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs
  • To collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and respectful learning environment
  • To assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with a specialisation in language, literacy, and numeracy
  • OR A recognised postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in language, literacy, and numeracy
  • OR A qualification at AQF5 (or above) and relevant experience in language, literacy, and numeracy
