About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team on a 12-month temporary assignment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and managing procurement activities, preparing documentation and approval briefs, and reviewing requirements and business cases to determine the most appropriate procurement methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
- Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management
- Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
4-6 years of experience in procurement or a related fieldStrong knowledge of procurement principles, policies, and proceduresExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWhat We Offer:
