Job Summary

This role involves developing and executing maintenance plans to ensure smooth production operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with production managers, maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure effective maintenance delivery.
  • Use CMMS to optimize maintenance workflows.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to support critical equipment.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and minimize production disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations related to maintenance activities.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing maintenance activities in a production environment preferably within the food or meat processing industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Proficiency in CMMS software and other maintenance planning tools.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues before they affect production.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification preferred but relevant experience is also highly valued.
  • Australian working rights are essential.
