Truck Driver and Furniture Handler

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team as a furniture handler.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting exhibition components across the Perth Metro area, supervising casual crew members on-site, loading and unloading company equipment from trucks, distributing exhibition components accurately and timely, installing furniture in apartments, new and existing homes, and ensuring strict adherence to time deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

  • Safety Protocols:
  • Safely driving to and from exhibition/sites across the Perth Metro area.
  • Supervising and coordinating casual crew members on-site.
  • Loading and unloading company equipment from trucks.
  • Distributing exhibition components on-site, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Installing furniture for property styling, including apartments, new and existing homes.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to time deadlines, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Assisting with the setup and pack-down of exhibition events.
  • Contributing to general warehouse duties.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Permanent Australian residency.
  • Compulsory MR license or higher.
  • No restrictions on attending Crown Casino.
  • Forklift ticket (advantageous).
  • A can-do attitude, bringing a positive and proactive approach to work.
