The Role
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team at Pirtek. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality repair work on plant and machinery.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Conduct thorough inspections and repairs on plant and machinery, using your mechanical knowledge and skills to identify and resolve issues
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building trust and loyalty through excellent communication and service
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and processes
What We're Looking For
- A trade certificate and/or previous experience in the Hydraulics industry
- A strong understanding of and commitment to faultless customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Organized and reliable, with a team player attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- A strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure
- A readiness to relocate to Port Hedland, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
