About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Greencross Vets Chatswood. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing a supportive environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to clients and their pets.
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary nursing role.
  • Excellent animal handling skills and a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
