About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Director to join our customer interactions team and establish and develop ING's advanced analytics capability.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data exploration, analysis, and development of insights, with a focus on automated decision-making through machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive advanced analytics to understand and solve business opportunities and issues.
  • Evaluate and implement advanced analytics tools, including Python.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Mentor other members in the ING analytics community on more advanced analytical techniques.
  • Support thought leadership and development of new data science products.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in using analytical tools such as R, Python, SAS, and SQL.
  • Experience in using statistical methods and solid knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning in cloud computing environments (GCP) and Big Data.
  • Some exposure to project management principles.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Analytical disciplines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and research skills, with a strong attention to detail.
