Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our Structural Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading small teams and managing junior engineers and drafters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead small teams of engineers and drafters to achieve project goals.
  • Undertake calculations for design and analysis to Australian Standards.
  • Prepare tender documents, including work breakdown structures, scopes, exclusions, and estimate design and documentation effort.
  • Liaise with asset owners, operators, contractors, and other consultants.
  • Attend meetings, briefings, and disseminate information amongst team members as required.
  • Progress design documentation, using experience to mark up and sketch design intent into project drawings.
  • Review other engineer's designs or drafter's documentation and provide constructive feedback to further develop quality of deliverables.
  • Mentor junior engineers and develop team spirit.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with most typical Australian Standards and industry guidelines for bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
  • Experience with structural analysis computer software, including Spacegass and Microsoft suite of programmes.
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment.
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
