Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Bradnam's Windows & Doors in Rockhampton. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering manufactured products and materials in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation and Delivery: Ensure all vehicles are in a safe, well-maintained, clean and tidy condition and that all items loaded onto trucks and trailers are secure before travel.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery instructions and obtain customer signatures upon delivery as required.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and contribute to good housekeeping at the branch.
  • Travel and Safety: Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices and comply with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign in or other processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's Licence issued for the appropriate vehicle category.
  • A positive approach to every task while demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A Truck Licence MR is preferred.
