Job Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to join our team in the David Jones Elizabeth St Sydney store.

This role offers a dynamic and motivating work environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in retail store management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire others.

You will be responsible for leading the store team across all aspects of retail store management, including people development and recruitment, driving store performance, stock management and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and drive sales growth
  • To manage and maintain accurate stock levels and ensure that merchandise is visually appealing
  • To monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • A collaborative, motivated and can-do attitude

  • Experience of performing against KPIs
  • A desire to grow their career
  • Experience of working in apparel retail
