We are seeking a Seasonal Casual Parcel Sorter to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of parcels and mail during our peak period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sorting parcels and mail using scanners and manual methods
  • Loading and unloading mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages
  • Operating sophisticated processing equipment and lines
  • Cooperating with operations staff to get mail into the facility
About You
  • You must be available to work from October through our peak period
  • You should enjoy a physical role and be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • You should be safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment such as conveyors, loading/lifting devices, and pallet jacks
  • You should be comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
What We Offer
  • A regular shift time and the opportunity to work with a great team
  • A higher rate of pay may apply for applicable shift times (penalty rates)
  • A 12% superannuation rate
  • The possibility of ongoing work beyond the peak season
