The Heavy Duty Engine Specialist role exists to join our dynamic team at the Wacol National Parts Distribution Centre. This full-time position supports the parts supply chain team by resolving customer inquiries, collaborating with vendors, and analysing complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to dealers and branches regarding parts technical enquiries related to Engine, Transmission, and Chassis components.
  • Liaise with OEM Partners to resolve parts technical queries that cannot be resolved internally.
  • Communicate with internal departments to provide customer responses on vendor availability, new part numbers, and outstanding orders.
  • Liaise with PDC staff regarding order amendments, shipment timelines, and report any issues or customer concerns.
  • Develop and implement standardised answers to FAQs and utilise CRM databases.
  • Support the IDS Inventory and Freight Management Systems.

About You:

  • Display a strong customer service ethos.
  • Possess knowledge or background in heavy duty truck and/or heavy duty engine.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to analyse situations and communicate effectively, positively, clearly, logically, and promptly to both dealers and team members.
  • Be willing and able to work with computer operating systems (IDS, ERA, and CRM).
