Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic Support Specialist to join our team. As a Domestic Support Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to provide personalized support and care, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic support and care to clients in their own homes, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance client care.

Requirements

  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001).
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (Myhomecare will organize at no cost).
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • Experience working in aged, disability care, or domestic assistance is desirable, but not required.
