About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our Commodities and Global Markets Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our internal controls platform, which is designed to support our business in risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our internal controls platform using Python.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are well-integrated with our existing systems.
  • Take on the responsibility of creating and managing tools vital for Identity Access Management (IAM) within our Commodities and Global Markets business.
  • Ensure that users have the appropriate access to the systems needed.
  • Coding, testing, and deploying software.
  • Manage the release planning and execution.
  • Represent your team and oversee feature releases.
  • Manage the complex aspects of project management.
  • Take on a leadership role for the engineering team and ensure that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and have a desire to mentor less experienced team members.
  • Experience leading a project from inception to production.
  • Strong background in Python.
  • Solid knowledge in building scalable, maintainable, and low-latency web applications.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and design principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the functional requirement.
