The Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Education Leader to join our team. As Head of Department, Student Engagement, you will play a key role in enhancing student experiences, wellbeing, and academic engagement across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage staff to provide strategic direction and oversight of student-focused programs and initiatives to embed reading practices within and across the school.
- Provide leadership and support to staff in embedding student engagement practices across the curriculum with a focus on reading in the Primary years.
- Work within the Wellbeing team to develop and implement wellbeing strategies to support students' emotional, social, and mental health, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, guardians, and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing of students is effectively supported.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
