Foreman Position - Experienced Builder Required

We seek an accomplished builder to oversee construction projects in the Wollongong area.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with exceptional project management skills and experience working on commercial/industrial builds.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage subcontractors to deliver projects efficiently.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication.
  • Contribute to developing project instructions using your expertise and experience.
  • Foster open communication among superiors and subordinates, promoting collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Carpenter, showcasing technical expertise.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial new build projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in the local area.
  • Strong management skills and knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities to meet project milestones.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and conflict management capabilities.
