Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring that our clients' water needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with irrigation systems
  • Program and adjust irrigation system controllers to ensure proper watering schedules
  • Conduct backflow testing and prevention to ensure the water supply is not contaminated
  • Implement water-saving technologies and techniques to promote efficient water use and conservation
  • Interact with clients to understand their irrigation needs and provide solutions
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment used for irrigation work
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems
  • Previous experience in maintaining sports fields or golf irrigation systems
  • Great customer service skills and consistently delivering quality workmanship
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Qualification in Turf/Horticulture/Irrigation preferred but not essential
  • Driver's licence or ability to get to site
  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain at our expense)
  • Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
