About the Role


ALS is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its metallurgical services business at the Iron Ore Technical Centre (IOTC) in Wangara, Perth, Western Australia.



Job Description


The successful applicant will become part of a busy metallurgical testing laboratory that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results and maintaining strong relationships with clients.



This is an initial casual position with a view to permanent employment after a period of service. The role requires shift work and involves handling and preparation of iron ore samples, as well as grinding, size analysis, filtering, drying, and sample submissions.



The Day-to-Day


Training will be provided for all duties, including iron ore related testing such as drop tower, bulk density, jigging, and magnetic separation.

  • Ability to follow set procedures;

Salary


The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000 - $85,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
