Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering design, including drafting and reviewing drawings, and working within project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Estimating Team and Project Manager with electrical engineering design for estimating purposes and project variations.
  • Develop designs for building electrical services, including lighting, general power, automation, and reticulation.
  • Be involved in all stages of project design, including drafting and reviewing drawings and coordinating with other building services.
  • Work with the Project Team to develop electrical designs and construct projects, meeting specifications and solving electrical design or operation problems.
  • Collaborate with the design team to make design changes and assemble sample documents and datasheets.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Prior experience with CAD/Revit is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of an engineering consultancy environment on building services projects.
  • Experience leading and running electrical engineering components of major projects.
  • Proficiency with industry software (MS Office, Bluebeam etc).
