Ground Stability Specialist - QLD

We are seeking a Ground Stability Specialist to join our team in QLD. This is a technical leadership role that requires strong skills in mine subsidence risk assessments, predictive modeling, and mitigation strategies.

The successful candidate will provide expert technical advice on ground movement impacts, infrastructure risks, and environmental safeguarding. They will also develop and implement effective remediation measures to minimize subsidence impacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive subsidence risk assessments and develop predictive models to inform mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on ground movement and associated infrastructure impacts.
  • Provide technical guidance on remediation and prevention measures to safeguard communities and the environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, engineers, regulators, and community groups.
  • Prepare expert technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Mining, or Civil Engineering.
  • Significant experience in mine subsidence engineering, remediation design, and geotechnical assessment.
  • Proven track record in subsidence modeling, structural impact assessment, and monitoring techniques.
  • Excellent technical reporting and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Subsidence Advisory practices.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent registration desirable.
