This is a unique opportunity to work as a rotational hospital pharmacist, providing relief cover in various locations within the Hunter and Mid-Coast region. You will have the chance to gain experience in diverse environments and specialties, combining your career with adventure.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct medication chart reviews and reconciliation to ensure patient safety and optimal treatment outcomes
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products to meet patient needs
- Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions and discharges
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service to clients and patients
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees in their daily operations
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and proper use of medicines
- General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice
- Current drivers' license and roadworthy vehicle fit for purpose
- Ability to commit to frequent travel role
- Possession of permanent Australian working rights
- Personal indemnity insurance coverage
