Job Overview

The Financial Crime Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's Financial Crime line 2 function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating financial risks.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure relevant typologies are reviewed, understood, and incorporated into the Financial Crime management framework.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, innovation, and best practice approaches to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Participate in management and AML/CTF governance forums, developing appropriate management information.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in compliance/risk management functions or as a regulator/law enforcement agency professional.
  • Prior experience within AUSTRAC, law enforcement, or as a FINTEL Alliance secondee is highly desirable.
  • Industry-relevant certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) and membership associations are desired.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing, leading, and managing others.
