Maternity Care Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to provide comprehensive care in our maternity ward. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing various aspects of maternity care, including birth suite operations, pain management, and neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to patients
  • Manage and assist in the birth suite, supporting women through labor and delivery
  • Administer and monitor epidural analgesia and manage pain relief for laboring patients
  • Perform and oversee neonatal resuscitation and provide advanced neonatal care as needed
  • Conduct IV cannulation and manage intravenous therapy
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration (must be current)
  • Australian working rights
  • Australian Immunisation History
  • National Police Check
  • Experience in maternity care, including birth suite management and neonatal care
  • Competency in administering epidurals and managing pain relief
  • Proficiency in IV cannulation and advanced neonatal resuscitation (NeoResus)
