Job Title: Class Actions/Litigation Lawyer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75K-$130K

Location: Sydney

About the Role:

  • Reporting to a multi-talented Managing Partner and a top calibre partner, you will be responsible for litigating complex group/class-actions disputes with a social justice/human rights flavour.
  • You will also handle sophisticated/high-value commercial disputes in Superior Courts.
  • As a key litigator, you will be part of a strong team-focused, down-to-earth, collaborative work environment where high performers are valued and rewarded.

About the Firm:

  • The firm is a mid-sized sophisticated high-end litigation firm with a flourishing diverse commercial litigation practice.
  • It is independently acknowledged as a key player in the class actions niche.

Requirements:

  • You must be a lawyer admitted to practice in NSW with a minimum of 2+ years post-qualification experience in high-end commercial litigation and/or class actions.
  • Proven solid experience litigating in the higher courts, such as Federal and Supreme Courts, is highly desirable.
  • You should have a genuine interest in practicing in the highly sought-after niche of class actions long-term.
  • Strong technical drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills are essential.
  • You must thrive in a strong team-focused, down-to-earth, collaborative work environment.
