Logistics Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and conscientious Logistics Specialist to join our team. Our drivers use sophisticated technology to deliver everyday essentials and natural resources across retail, healthcare, government, and defence.

  • Participate in and commit to our safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Safely transport mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
  • Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing us in a professional manner
About You
  • You have an excellent driving record and safe work history
  • You can demonstrate: A commitment to safety in everything you do; Forklift license is essential MC license preferred, HC/ HR license considered
  • A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
  • Good customer service and communication skills
