Teach Young Children to Swim

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team as Infant and Preschool Swim Teachers at the Parks Recreation and Sports Centre in Adelaide.

As a YMCA Swim Teacher, you will play a key role in the success of our Swimming Lessons Program, ensuring our infants, preschool, and parent participants receive top-quality, safe, and engaging instruction.

Our program focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can grow and develop their skills.

Our ideal candidate is a committed professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality swimming lessons that cater to diverse needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver swimming lessons to infants and preschoolers in a safe and engaging manner
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to individual needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality across all programs

Requirements:

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Swim Australia Teacher accreditation or equivalent
  • SISCAQU027 Teacher of Infant & Preschool Aquatics
  • HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent
