Physical Education Instructor


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Physical Education Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment, planning and implementing effective teaching strategies in physical education, and promoting student engagement and enjoyment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas, including Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experienced Physical Education teacher with the ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in physical education.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills, ensuring timely delivery of curriculum and assessment requirements.

Benefits:

The successful applicant will hold appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K6 and be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW. They will also require a Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencement.
