At the forefront of structural drafting, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality Building Information Modelling (BIM) models, data, and documentation.

About this opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Structural Drafter to join our diverse team within the Buildings group. As a key member of our collective, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results through your expertise in engineering/design/drafting tasks, professional reports, and technical documents recording designs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake critical engineering/design/drafting tasks to meet client requirements for structural design projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents recording designs with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain your professional skill set through continuous training and knowledge building exercises.
  • Utilize standard and modified design and drafting methods to solve complex problems using Computer Aided Drawing (CAD), modelling, and analysis software.
  • Provide regular progress updates to supervisors and colleagues.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in a range of other modelling and coordination programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in structural engineering skills and programming (C++, Java, XML, Python).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Reinforced concrete and steel experience with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
