Job Summary

We are currently seeking Industrial Fabrication Specialists to join our team at our QLD location. As an Industrial Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings provided by supervisors and production staff. Your primary duties will include:

  • Assembling aluminium components in accordance with work instructions and drawings;
  • Conducting work in line with standard job builds and SOP;
  • Building jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensuring work is completed to appropriate standards and within time constraints;
  • Reporting broken or damaged machinery and ensuring all problems are tagged out correctly;
  • Welding and fabricating as required and to specifications;
  • Adhering to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government regulations;
  • Participating in staff consultation and communications, such as Toolbox Talks and training.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will be based at our QLD facility, where you will have the opportunity to work with a skilled and experienced team. Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of physical activities, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering materials and equipment through manual and mechanical means. They will also need to wear specialized protective equipment and perform general physical activities, such as climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking. Additionally, they may be required to work at heights or within confined spaces.

Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A trade qualification in a relevant industry;
  • Health and safety training, preferably;
  • Extensive fabrication experience;
  • An understanding of safe work practices;
  • Good communication skills; and
  • Attention to detail.
