Job Summary:

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Nunawading 1. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, promoting our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring their access to essential services.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including those with dementia.

Requirements:

  • You must care about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
