About the Role

CPC Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver structural engineering designs, models, and calculations for process plant projects.
  • Provide technical review and approval of structural and civil engineering deliverables.
  • Coordinate and lead a team of designers and drafters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of designs.
  • Monitor and control project progress, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to CPC Engineering's policies, procedures, and quality management requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in process plant design, with a strong background in structural engineering.
  • High-level competence in designing to relevant Australian Standards, particularly steel and concrete structures.
  • Proficiency in using structural analysis software, such as SpaceGass and Strand7.
  • Ability to produce high-quality study estimates and manage studies and small design projects.
  • Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Willingsness to travel for short-term site visits if required.
