Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing drawings, plans, and designs for mechanical works, selecting tools and equipment, and assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement mechanical designs and plans to meet customer requirements
  2. Select and procure tools and equipment to support mechanical works
  3. Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, and controls
  4. Operate and program CNC machines to ensure high-quality output
  5. Conduct site measurements, drawing, fabrication, testing, and installation to complete products
  6. Estimate material costs, quantities, machine requirements, and customer quotations
  7. Organize and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machines and plants
  8. Ensure that designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions
Requirements
  1. Diploma, bachelor's degree, or higher in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field
  2. 2 years of experience in a similar role
  3. Holding a driver's license, forklift license, and white card (general construction induction) is an advantage
  4. Proficiency in 2D and 3D programs such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drawing and fabrication
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
