About the Role

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our Group Supply Chain team as an Equipment Maintenance Specialist. This is a critical role that will see you working on the reliability and mechanical maintenance of equipment across our facility.

As an experienced mechanical fitter and turner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment is working at optimal levels to maximize throughput and efficiency. You will also be required to complete work orders with minimal impact on production schedules and maintain accurate records of your work through our maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work history and troubleshooting efforts
  • Collaborate with the maintenance manager and planner to identify and address safety-related issues and risks to the plant and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a trade qualification in mechanical fitting and turning, as well as sound knowledge of maintenance, engineering, and production processes within a FMCG manufacturing environment. You should be passionate about safety and committed to working in a team-oriented environment.
